There are two ways you can structure a particle's URL:

Headline: /headline-of-your-particle-here

Rebel Item: ?rebelltitem=X#rebelltitem=X (This is usually the default fallback option.)

Maximize SEO Wins With Individual Particle Slugs

Assigning unique slugs to each one of your particles can maximize your wins on search. Think of each new particle slug as a different opportunity to win a new search phrase.

For example, RebelMouse-powered Motherly created an article about pregnant celebrities in 2020. By using Particle Assembler, they were able to win big search phrases through the main article and associated particles. The particle URL specifically about Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom received an extra 65K+ views and 833 clicks in direct search:

Drilling down a bit further, when you filter for the search phrase "katy perry" in Motherly's Google Search Console, you can see direct search wins for that same specific particle — not the main article itself. In this case, 443 people who searched for "katy perry" landed specifically on the particle about her pregnancy with Orlando Bloom.
